ASL: St. Louis ASL Tournament ASL: St. Louis ASL Tournament To: Subject: ASL: St. Louis ASL Tournament From: "Jim Burris" Date: Mon, 30 Jul 2001 15:58:02 -0500 References: Reply to Posting Individual Only Reply to List Only Reply to Both All, We finished our 4th annual tournament this last Sunday after a weekend of gaming fun. First I would like to thanks all the participants that took the time and effort to attend the tournament. We had a great group of guys with quite a few very good players. I would also like to thank MMP for donating some gift certificates and Alex Key who donated some scenario packs to be given as prizes. The tournament hosted 24 ASL players from Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, New Jersey, Arizona, Ohio and Oklahoma. First Place went to the reigning WBC Champ Paul Sidhu. Second Place went to Wes Vaughn Third Place went to Doug Kirk. There was a lot of fun to be had. Saturday everyone played ASL bingo, we gave away door prizes and Dave Angrisani bought pizza for everyone. After most of the games had finished on Saturday night a group of guys played a late night game of Settlers (cities and knights). Doug Kirk, Randy Rossi and myself engaged in a less than sober game of Dogs of War. Thanks again to all who attended and I hope to see you all next year.
